Trusts - F.A.Q's

What if I don't go into care?

Trusts are still very much worthwhile, as it will avoid the cost, delay and trouble involved in winding up your estate. If your home is still in your name when you die, you will need to hire a lawyer to handle the Probate process. This may cost tens of thousands of pounds, and it could take months to finish. If your assets are in the Trust, however, the surviving trustees can take care of your affairs as soon as you pass away, potentially bypassing the Probate process entirely.
